11 cars parked outwith marked bays

Outside Kaplan Residences 200 Old Dumbarton Road G3 8QB there is always illegal parking. There are a few marked bays (5 I think) in front of this student accommodation but many more cars park here even though it is clearly marked no parking. This morning at 09:22 I counted 11 vehicles outwith marked bays. Sometimes there are so many that one lane is blocked making the road a single lane.

The number of cars reduced for a short period of time - one of these drivers received 3 tickets - but unfortunately the problem persists. It seems drivers are too tight to pay for parking. There is a parking lot around the corner from this street with plenty of spaces available.

The situation remains the same. I do not know what the answer is but am encouraged that the council says it will now be towing vehicles with repeated unpaid parking fines. There are more and more vehicles and parking spaces are being removed so I imagine this problem will persist.

Unfortunately, drivers continue to park in obstructive and illegal ways. I walked by here two days ago and 9 cars were parked outwith marked bays, some blocking one lane of traffic. Many of these drivers are going to the gym in Kelvinhall. Bunhouse Road car park is directly across the street from Kevinhall but people prefer to be disrespectful to the those that live in the area rather than pay for parking. By the way, I have never seen Bunhouse Road car pack full.
