I live on Oleander Close and my back garden fence backs into Farnborough Hill. We replaced our fence 3 years ago. The verge behind my boundary council owned) has become totally overgrown with weeds, brambles and ivy which have attached to my fence and is causing damage forcing the panels apart. A couple of deceased trees were removed a few years ago, but the remaining trees have not been attended to since we moved into our house, other than us arranging and paying for overhanging tree branches to be removed.

    Please can I have an update on the works planned as the ivy is out of control and is climbing over my fence. I own this fence and the land behind why the weeds and ivy is growing from is owned by the council.

  • Can someone please let me know when these planned works will be carried out as nothing has been done to date?

    My fence is becoming further damaged with the ivy growing through the panels.

    These unkept trees and weeds are on council property.
