Commercial bins on pavement blocking the highway
Anfon at Bromley Council llai na munud yn hwyrach. Cyfeirnod FixMyStreet: 6091190.
This has been reported before but the bins appear to have multiplied and it’s not acceptable. This never used to happen ands just not acceptable to for the shops to block the path, it’s a residential road and the bins are smelly and unsightly. Please can this be resolved.

I live up the road on Ashley Gardens. Similar to other residents on the road, I have noticed these bins on the pavement as well. This is totally unacceptable. This is a health and safety issue. We have children walking up n down the street and these massive bins are using up 2/3rds of the pavement leaving less space to walk safely. Please take appropriate action and ban parking of bins on the pavement which is designed for people to walk safely.

The number of commercial bins dumped on our residential road has increased, despite previous reports. Additionally, we already have to deal with multiple unsightly, often overfilled recycling bins down our road, opposite the pub. Please take action against the business owners responsible. Can this be resolved?

Another bin from another shop blocking the pavement again.

We have had enquiries previously regarding the commercial bins being left on the Highway. A Neighbourhood Officer will attend and will speak to the Commercial units regarding this.

We have notified the responsible party of their duties and responsibilities and informed them that further enforcement action may be taken if the issue is not resolved. For overhanging vegetation reports please allow 28 days for the responsible party to arrange action before notifying us of any continued obstruction.

Thank you for your enquiry.
Letters have been sent to the businesses about their commercial bins obstructing the highway. This will be monitored over the next two weeks and if continues this will be sent to the enforcement officer to take forward.
