Failed tarmac surrounding drain cover causing excessive noise

This drain and surrounding tarmac has been patched up previously. The last repair has lasted some time but it is once again making excessive noise when vehicles pass over it due to the tarmac failing. This is now loud enough to cause disturbance throughout the day but also at night, disrupting sleep. Please can this be rectified ASAP.

  • Please can you advise when this will be fixed? It’s been causing noise pollution and nuisance for a couple of months now, particularly at night disturbing sleep. A similar issue was not fixed by the council just 50m away and it resulted in the drain fully collapsing this morning and causing a risk to motorists and pedestrians.
