Metal Trip hazard in pavement

Not only is there a hole in pavement, but it's the remains of a sharp metal pole sticking out , my partner tripped on this then lost footing on the uneven/wobbly 3 curb edge stones and fell in to the road, very sharp and dangerous pole , high enough to trip , no high enough to notice it's there, we were staying in the premier inn so unsure how long problem has been there, 6 people stopped and also identified the trip hazard so I said I'd report it
