Trees overhanging the carriageway

On 23 May 2024 during a Route 37 double-deck bus journey between Waterlooville and Petersfield starting around 10:30 there were 42 collisions between the bus and tree branches.
Some were very high impact and it was shocking for passengers.
During the return journey on the same day there were 30 collisions between the bus and tree branches.
There would have been more collisions but parked vehicles kept the bus away from the left edge of the carriageway.
Observations were made fairly and open mindedly with no exaggeration. No collisions should have occurred because the carriageway should not have been obstructed.
The county council has never cut trees back far enough to avoid collisions and continues to plant trees too close to the highway.
Damage to buses is increasing.
If a bus made a round trip each hour and hit the same trees it would be 72 impacts per hour for as many hours as the service ran. The trees keep growing so in a month's time there may be more than twice as ,many impacts.
Steps need to be taken to keep the higways clear of all obstructions and ensure adequate clearance at all times
