On going problem for many years. Has become much worse since the pipe was replaced last 2023 and has move the problem 50 meters up the road towards Deddington. As can be seen from previous posts the drains cannot cope with the surface water and subsequent pressure lifts the cast iron covers off the drains. Obviously a H&S issue for people using the footpath and when in flood the footpath to Home Farm where villagers shop and to Deddington where villagers have to walk due to no busses is unusable.

Clearly nothing has been done. A member of the village has tried to replace the manhole lid without success. There is now a trip hazard which has been reported under separate cover by another villager. This is a well used footpath used not only members of the village but also groups of walkers.
