Pedestrian crossing always with sludge and puddles

This crossing is always built up sludge and built up water issues, be it light showers or long spells of rain, creating long settlement of water. Road cleaners / lorries are witnessed clearing it but actually needs shovels and stiff brushes to clear it efficiently and effectively. It’s a well & heavily used crossing and causes users to cross unsafely elsewhere due to this build up.
