Temporary lights shocking

Hare & hound cross roads. Road works are creating standstill traffic back to Innsworth farm house as well as Standstill back to the A40 and into longlevens. Taking 1hr 15 minutes to get 1.8miles to take my child to school in the morning is frankly shameful! Traffic signals are not going in any particular order, are not allowing enough cars through each time. Work men/women have already left at 5am so why is the road shut until 6am. Maybe if they completed a full shift it would be done quicker? 7 ambulances lined up in the traffic heading back to depot sat there for 30 minutes, 2 fire engines on a shout struggling to get through the traffic. Police stuck in the traffic delaying them. How is this good planning, how is this acceptable? Whoever is responsible for planning really needs addressing. All for a cycle path that’s already in such a poor state or repair and not being used by cyclists due to this?
