Road surface damaged

Damage being caused to houses by potholes all down Edgebury but in particular 57-61. This is a major bus route with the new heavy electric buses and the vibrations caused by fast bus running over then damaged road are now damaging the properties and actually bouncing parked cars This needs urgent attention as this is dangerous and damaging properties and casing difficult for the bud drivers in maintaining control.

It appears that some of the damaged road has been highlighted with white paint for repair, but some of the biggest holes have not been marked accordingly. There is a lot of damage outside 59 that has not been addressed

Still not fixed and houses still being shaken badly by the buses . Cars being chipped by the stones now.

This is beyond a joke now. The vibrations are causing damage to the houses and getting worse day by day. A bus passing between parked cars dipped so much as it hit the damaged road it nearly took the side of a car off. Please no more investigations or scheduling actions. Can this be sorted as dangerous !

Thank you for your report regarding this issue. Bromley are aware of the significant volume of works raised and outstanding with our contractor and we are continuing to monitor and liaise with them over this outstanding schedule of works. Our Officers are not able to give precise timeframes to individual jobs at this moment but are continuing to undertake regular safety inspections and check any reported issues. We will continue to work with our contractor to ensure that all outstanding jobs are addressed as quickly as they are able.

I first reported these potholes on Edgebury in March 2023 so this is how long this has been going on with little or no repairs being done - absolutely disgraceful 😡😡

This is getting ridiculous and despite all residents raising this with you for last more than 12 months, you have done absolutely nothing. Its disgraceful , shameful and I dont understand how you guys can demand any council tax from us if we cannot have this basic support from you. Our house is in disarray and no one can sleep due to constant shaking and all you post every week is that the work is in progress...These stupid and false updates doesn't work . I will do whatever I can to escalate this.

I refer back to the update on 11/04 that states exactly the same generic reply saying “we expect an early resolution”. If an early resolution is 133 days since the report and nothing done then you are bang on target ! Again for the record for when an accident happens, this is outside a school and cars are losing control going over these ! No more updates please. Get it fixed

Great work Bromley Council 👍. At least your progress update will keep this report within your service agreement levels of getting absolutely nothing done.

This has not been fixed, only 2 of the 4 holes have been filled in There remain 2 areas painted with the white lines that have not been done. It has also been left in a mess and with bits of tarmac all over the road.

It’s an absolute joke for Bromley Council to report that the potholes on Edgebury have been repaired. There are at least 10/12 places that need repairing. I first reported the potholes Jan/Feb 2023 and I’m still commenting that repairs are needed 🙈 Shame on Bromley Council💩

This issue has not been fixed. I took photos today of two potholes outside number 60 Edgebury. One has white markings around it but neither have been fixed. This is a school road and these potholes are a safety issue because they could cause a car to veer off the road. Get them fixed asap, Bromley council.

This is a joke. I raised it almost 10 months back. 2 holes fixed everything else is same. You guys are taking a piss now. I asked the engineers to fix the other potholes and they simply told me that they are not commissioned to do anymore. This is NOT FIXED. Pls immediately do so. There are atleast 10+ potholes still there.

Resident has phoned as despite previous updates and requests only 2 of the 12 potholes reported have been filled, has been marked as fixed continuously but this has still not been done, if this can be chased up
