I reported this to Reading Borough Council on Monday, 05/02/2024, when it was smaller than it is now. Two working weeks later, no action. The holes have now combined into one huge rut, which could easily unseat a biker or cyclist, and dozens of traffic-light-related cables are now exposed. Putting RBC on notice that they WILL be held responsible for any resulting injury - or worse - to to any road user.

Partially fixed. Broken again within 4 days.

Yn parhau i fod ar agor, trwy holiadur -
Part of the pothole was fixed but the bit right next to it, also a dangerous pothole, was not fixed. As of today, the pothole has formed again and there are large clods of solid tarmac lying around on the road surface. RBC KNOWS that these holes open up every few weeks - they do every winter - but it doesn't seem to dawn on them that they might need to keep on top of the problem to keep it small! Or is it a case of 'Computer says no'?
