There are no traffic lights on the pedestrian crossing and have just seen a near miss where someone almost was run over on the crossing when the pedestrian signal was green but no lights to show the cars to stop

• No lights have been removed? These cars should not be stopping in the yellow box markings, the stopline is further along vastern road and if their exit isn’t clear then they shouldn’t be entering it. I’d say a camera is needed here to prevent cars from entering the yellow box.
