This drain is very noisy when driven over , it has become worse since farnborough village was used as the A21 due to resurfacing works recently .

  • A temporary fix was applied some weeks ago but the problem has reoccurred and the drain cover is yet again making a clanking noise when traffic passes over it.

  • This problem HAS NOT BEEN FIXED !!! It’s been going on for a considerable amount of time . Can you please FIX THE DRAIN COVER !!!! It seems that after it’s reported it goes into a loop and is just NOT ADDRESSED !!

  • Yet again this case has been closed without the fault being resolved. We have spent months now with broken sleep because of the noise caused by the noisy drain cover. The same issue occurred a couple of years ago and also took months to resolve. If this issue is not resolved soon I will have no choice but to contact my MP.

  • Why does this getting closed off fixed, surely it should only closed off as fixed when its actually been fixed? In view of the ongoing issues could we have a photo uploaded to FMS to confirm it has been fixed when its eventually sorted out. That would remove any possible confusion or uncertainty. Many thanks.

  • The works were closed following attendance on site by our contractor, however as part of our post-works inspection process these works were deemed to not be to the required standard and reopened with the contractor for remedial action.
