There is a damaged/vandalised handrail at the junction of Charmouth Road and Newbridge Road, where the pedestrian crossing is located. It looks like someone deliberately removed all 10 fixing bolts and their associated nuts. This will seriously reduce the effectiveness of the barrier in the event of a collision.
