Traffic Lights stay on Red for extended times

Hi, I travel along the A325 on my way to Farnham every morning and reach the junction of the A325 and Oakhanger Road at around 6am. I regularly sit at these traffic lights for extended periods of time as they stay on red and don’t change. Most of the time, there is no other traffic from either side meaning that the light stays green for no traffic and red for traffic. Clearly, the sensors in these lights don’t work and have never worked as it’s been doing this from the very beginning. Please can this be investigated as a matter of urgency.

  • Just a little update to this one. Myself and three other vehicles approached the lights this morning at 602. A lorry approached from the opposite direction. As we approached, the lights turned to red and all 5 of us sat there for no reason. Not one vehicle came from either direction which had green lights. Either the sensors on these lights are not working or not installed?
