Sunken Manhole cover - 5"

The manhole cover on Old Bath Road opposite the junction with Charlton Lane has sunk by 5 or 6". Vehicles cannot avoid it and each impact in the hole is a heavy jolt to the vehicle. The hole is dangerous for motor cycles and bikes as it is right on the bend. Works are scheduled for the new crossing so it would be sensible to carry out this repair at the same time.
