I am writing to bring to your attention a matter of concern related to the overgrowth of vegetation encroaching onto the road along Bristol Road, Radstock, particularly in the area with the postcode BA3 3EE/F. This issue has been causing challenges for residents an commuters, especially on the right-hand side when traveling from Bath towards Radstock.
Some parts of Bristol Road have always been quite narrow, and the excessive vegetation exacerbates the problem. As a result, it has become increasingly difficult for vehicles to navigate safely through this stretch of road. The overgrown vegetation poses a risk to road safety and makes an already narrow road almost impassable in certain areas.
I kindly request that you consider sending a team to inspect the entire length of Bristol Road to assess the extent of the issue. It is particularly important to identify the responsible parties for maintaining the land, especially at the Bath end of the road. By determining ownership, we can address the problem more effectively and collaborate with the relevant landowners to resolve this issue.
Addressing this matter will not only enhance road safety but also improve the overall quality of life for the residents and commuters who rely on this road daily.
