Pavement defects

Adroddwyd drwy desktop yn y categori Pavements/footpaths yn ddienw am 00:19, Mer 18 Hydref 2023

Anfon at Hull City Council llai na munud yn hwyrach. Cyfeirnod FixMyStreet: 5108369.

The pavement outside of the former public house the Elephant and Castle ( Corner of Holderness Road and Barnsley Street ) is uneven with several paving slabs moving up and down when walked upon. Also the metal covers of the old pub cellar are rusted and uneven and look to be raised 2 to 3 inches above the rest of the surface.

  • It would appear that although this defect is currently open to public footfall it is actually not council property and they are not liable for its upkeep. They did not say if they would be following the matter up with the owner of the defective property, even though it is a serious trip hazard, with a jagged rusty sheet of metal a couple of inches above floor level..
