This stretch of South St ALWAYS strewn with litter & flytipping

Needs cleaned up, again.

Why does it happen? Because AMK Hire's depot is no big enough, so returned vehicles are pavement parked and their clients 'clean' up said vehicles before handing back keys (as per hire contract). They do so by dumping litter and worse on the pavement here.

How to resolve? Do what I have been reporting and asking for now for over 5 years. Get a council manager (or one of the council's 26,000 paid employees) to phone AMK to discuss /resolve the issue: 0141 950 4200

If nothing is done, again, and after all this time, and endless reports, a formal complaint goes in.

Top Tip: In lieu of actually having sufficiently large premises, AMK could a) Advise / warn all hirers not to tip waste on the street b) provide them with a waste bag c) provide a waste bin at the point they hand back the keys. Else clean up their client's mess weekly.
