Yet another obstruction dumped onto Waterside Road with another exploited, vulnerable street dweller having to defecate on the highway. Abandoned Talbot camper van. As evidenced by attached images, there are no vehicle registration marks on the vehicle. They have been removed to conceal ownership. Local intelligence resources indicate that this Talbot camper van might be associated with EN06 OBV, Renault van, grey. The registered keeper of this Renault van lives locally and operates a business selling and renting dilapidated trailer caravans, camper vans and boat trailers, some of which now comprise the shanty town on Waterside Road. Police previously directed the registered keeper of the Renault to remove obstructions from Waterside Road. Local residents and road users respectfully request that Torbay Council, SWISCo, Police and other agencies stop passing the buck about highway obstruction and public health risks on Waterside Road and instead get a grip on resolving them. Credit where credit is due though: Thank you to the polite SWISCo operatives who now clear away fly-tipped waste and discarded drug paraphernalia (including syringes) on Waterside Road.
