Giant hogweed spotted along cycle path/pavement on southern side of a104

Adroddwyd drwy iOS yn y categori Other yn ddienw am 10:27, Sad 1 Gorffennaf 2023

Anfon at Waltham Forest Borough Council llai na munud yn hwyrach. Cyfeirnod FixMyStreet: 4737841.

Giant hogweed is an invasive plant that poses a serious risk to people walking/cycling along the pathway. Contact with the leafs can cause severe burns, so this can pose an immediate danger to anyone using this pathway and happens to touch the leafs unintentionally. The toxins of this plant can lead to life-long injuries so this plant should be removed immediately. Please see the RHS website for further information on the dangers of giant hogweed (different to normal hogweed which poses no dangers to humans).

I have spotted several locations along the southern side of A104 (Lea bridge road, near the turn off to Lammas road) growing along the tree line immediately next to the cycle/pathway.
