Poison hemlock plants alongside fencing pavement edge

Several plants positively identified as poison hemlock have been growing along both sides of this section of Rose Green Rd, just before Crofts End. The plants have grown large, up to 2m high, some hanging right over the path. The pavements are frequently used by pedestrians. I have this evening cut most of the foliage and stems down and removed this to nearby plot of land, business owners to be advised in the morning. but thicker stems remain in situe and will produce more growth. I would advise the roots should be dug up or a herbicide applied in autumn by the council. This is an exceedingly toxic plant even if consumed in small amounts and a public safety concern.
