The road is a disgrace

Anfon at Glasgow City Council llai na munud yn hwyrach. Cyfeirnod FixMyStreet: 4480791.

This is a main route to the local primary school. There are at least 8, I repeat 8 potholes on this road. Walkerburn Rd has been resurfaced twice totally in the past 5 years, what are the District Council thinking of. Apparently there is a suggestion that a local councillor lives in Walkerburn Rd, hence the urgency with resurfacing there.

  • After a number of issues have been raised concerning the state of this road, finally and I repeat finally someone in their wisdom at the District Council Roads Dept decided that resurfacing was the only answer. We now have a resurfaced road. I must admit it has taken a number of years of complaining to get to this stage and not only this road but a number of others in the immediate area, but hey ho, if at first they totally ignore you, try again and try again and try again. Enough said.
