Multiple potholes and dangerous road surface

A huge stretch of the A343 from the A34 through to Highclere desperately needs resurfacing. The many potholes make the road dangerous to drivers and potentially fatal to motorcyclists. This is an important A Road on a school route and one which is regularly relied on when the A34 encounters problems. I have seen cars with punctures daily and the road was closed due to an accident yesterday. With the dangerous road surface, cars swerving to avoid potholes and exposed metalwork from the cats eyes, it feels as if we are waiting for a serious accident to happen.
