Seeing lots of litter and building waste discarded mid Watkins Drive. Also masses of litter from people cutting through from the shops. I have reported it - but as residents perhaps we need our own clean up. Let’s keep our place a great place to live. I have requested some litter bins along Middleton Rd; and or something along Watkins...

As predicted the fly tipped shower screen fell on to the roadway shattering - reported a week earlier to the Council. I specifically outlined the risk of the above. Sadly, local residents brushed the fragments - to protect their tyres...

Litter not removed. Albeit, the council sent a large lorry with two operators to drop off some grabbers and bags. I tried to clear the litter but was nearly wiped out by a speeding car! No attempt by the two operators to remove the litter at the same time - what a poor use of resources-with no outcome.

I would appreciate a discussion with someone senior within the council. The only prospect of the litter being removed- was to pick it up myself- where I was almost knocked down by a speeding car. What are we paying council tax for?
