Lack of no parking markings at bus stop

There is a bus stop on Newlands Avenue, Didcot. Unfortunately 'no parking' road markings have not been put in place by this designated bus stop, which means vehicles park at the stop constantly. This makes getting off the bus away from the stop, onto an untarmacked boggy grass verge, dangerous and a potential hazard. Could 'no parking' road markings not be put in place at the stop itself to avoid this problem? My elderly mother finds it very difficult to alight from the bus and has come close to falling on more than one occasion. This is an accident waiting to happen is seems.
