No recycling collection

None of the 8 houses circling the grass covered roundabout had our recycling collected last Friday 19th August. Numerous reports have been made since and still no collection or response from the council. This has affected 56, 57, 58,59, 60, 61, 62 and 63.....we all still have our bins outside awaiting collection as we can not do anything else with them as they are full up! Can the council please tell us what we are supposed to do with all the recycling we are now amassing or shall we leave it in bags on the roundabout???
