Litter and rubbish everywhere

Months ago I flagged the levels of litter and other rubbish along this pedestrian stretch at Charing Cross. Months ago I requested a street bin near the bus stop there. Months later... no bin, even more litter and rubbish. It's an absolute eyesore. And someone has taken the time to cut back all the shrubbery on the side beds, yet clearly just tramped the endless litter trapped in those beds (both sides of the pavement) and including that old Glasgow fav. the abandoned, 3rd party, roadwork signs. GCC should be utterly ashamed but remain shameless it seems.
