Kerbside parking

The areas around the bus stop on foreland avenue and just a bit further down are blighted by the consistant behaviour of parents who decide to mount there vehicles up and down the kerbs, making it very dangerous during drop of and pick up times during the school terms. There are many times because of this dangerous parking when the buses are completely blocked getting through, with bus drivers having to face a gauntlet of abuse from drivers as they need to move before the bus is allowed through. This also causes traffic jams. Speeding is also a problem with drivers trying to rush to beat the traffic. As there is no road markings or adequate signage it is only a matter of time before there is a child that will sustain injuries or death as this area is between two busy primary schools.
