Roadworks down Martin Road causing hazard

The recent roadworks along Martin Road on the bend near the Drew Smith housing development site is causing a hazardous situation for both pedestrians and vehicles.

This is a busy road, which is also a bus route. Busses already struggle around these bends when other cars pass by, often having to mount the pavement. Now the roadworks barriers are in the road, making it even narrower.

Additionally, there isn't adequate provisions made for pedestrians, who now have to cross to the other side of road at dangerous points.

Suggest the red plastic barriers are removed off the road to allow safe passage of busses and lorries.
