Persistent and long standing problem. Vehicle parked on junction causing hazard to road users, especially, vulnerable road users, children, horse riders ( stables nearby) and elderly pedestrians.

Birch Tree Drive, western end, junction with Churchill Drive , Emsworth. Hampshire.

Persistent problem with vehicles blocking junction by parking within the junction..

Three problems:

1. Obstructs junction view creating hazard as forces vehicles onto wrong side of road with very limited visibility into a right angle bend.

2. Obstructs from view street name board - problem for emergency services responding to incidents. Also the many delivery drivers in large vans - road has complex numbering system.

3. Obstructs large emergency response vehicle ( Fire Engines) from accessing road. They cannot even mount the pavement due to vehicles parking right up to the junction in Churchill Drive.

( Most homes have driveways and garages which appear unused. Recent double yellow line painting has solved the same problem at the eastern end of Birch Tree Drive).
