Incorrect/inconsistent road signs/ markings

Approaching the Southwold roundabout along the A4421/Skimmingdish Lane, initial signage shows the A4421 as a right Truro at the roundabout and A4095 straight over, with the Town Centre to be a left turn. Next sig shows the A4421 to be straight over in the same direction as the A4095, with no reference to a right turn at the roundabout! These final directions are repeated in the somewhat worn road markings. I have seen / experienced a number of near misses at this roundabout due to incorrect/inconsistent road directions, which are contradictory and confusing, especially to motorists unfamiliar with the area.
