The area is known as old arboretum and habitat for wildlife and badgers. There has been extensive earthworks to create substantial obstructions to the pathway through the woods to provide a series of obstacles some 3 ft high and the same width for mountain bikes. Large amounts of earth have been dug out leaving to pit that is now being filled with waste rubble and trees/garden waste. Earth has been shifted to provide banking for bikes along the route.. In other two other areas local residents are tipping garden waste. Trees seem to be being damaged and the whole area is being despoiled. As a valuable wildlife corridor and considerable asset to the area the continued vandalism to this area needs to be halted and rectified. I do hope that you are able to save this area from further damage.

There is likely to be fly-tipping of garden waste at the moment because collection of it has been suspended.

A group of local teenagers have regularly been using this as a bike park at high speeds which is dangerous to pedestrians, young children and animals. They have built substantial bike ramps including damage to the earth and wooden constructions along the main path causing obstructions and ruining the place. The land is co-owned by people on the street but given public access and overseen by the council. After the lockdown we would much appreciate removal of these obstacles and oversight.
