Road making needs to be changed
Adroddwyd drwy iOS yn y categori Road Markings yn ddienw am 14:37, Maw 7 Ionawr 2020
Anfon at Oxfordshire County Council 4 munud yn hwyrach. Cyfeirnod FixMyStreet: 1923715.
Left hand land to ghill and back to a441e should be right only not straight on to as this is causing problems with people thinking they can go onto the Aylesbury road so put them in the wrong lane
Lay out should be lane 1 1&2 exit only, Lane 2 2&3 exit only, lane 3. 4&5 exit only
Cyfeirnod y cyngor: ENQ20852572

Has this been looked at at all? This is still an issue 3 years after being reported. The road markings are dangerous as they change almost instantly halfway around the roundabout. I actively try to avoid this roundabout as its dangerous and have nearly been hit multiple times when I do use it.

If, as the previous reports indicate, this has not been reviewed (or closed), I urge you to please review this (again) with priority.
Referring to uploaded screenshot, at the Red A, heading to the A41(E), there are two marked lanes available (red and green dashed-lines). If drivers follow the road lane markings, the road lane markings inexplicably force them to converge at pinch-point yellow B, in the space of 5 metres travel, whilst navigating a roundabout, at circa 30 mph. The white marked dashed-lines currently force the green dashed-line traffic away from the roundabout one exit too soon.
I now travel on this route frequently. One must drive extremely defensively and expect cars from the green dashed-lines lane to cut into one’s red dashed-lines lane. I’ve seen numerous near misses and multiple subsequent aggressive road rage incidents. I’ve driven for over 30 years and have never come across a road line layout that is as incorrect and dangerous as this roundabout - it is literally urging for accidents to occur.
If the previous reporter’s suggestion isn’t acceptable to the council, then the existing white dashed-lines could be altered as per the yellow dashed-lines and provide a more natural and classical roundabout layout.
Either way, I implore you to re-review and implement a change. I’d strongly recommend that you try driving the route, using both lanes, multiple times, during rush hour. At the very least, to stand on the pavement and observe how the traffic interacts at the accident inducing pinch-point.

Hi Oxfordshire County Council, 5 days ago I took significant time to provide detailed feedback on this issue. Would you confirm if this is being re-investigated please? It’s a most important topic that I will raise as a new, separate report next week if there’s no further feedback. I can only assume that this ENQ20852572 is too old and therefore no longer read by Oxfordshire County Council.
