Cars parking too close to junction making entering Glebe road dangerous for traffic.

  • Unfortunately, as there are no clear parking restriction's in place at this location, Leicestershire County Council's Highways Department do not have any legal enforcement powers to request for vehicles to be moved.

    Although the Highway Code does state that vehicles should not park opposite or within 10 metres of a junction, except in authorised parking spaces, it does also state that this rule is to be used as guidance only and can only be enforced by the Police, if an obstruction is present.
