Red Traffic Light Jumping - Marsh Wall & Westferry Road
Adroddwyd yn y categori Roads/highways yn ddienw am 18:02, Iau 1 Tachwedd 2018
Anfon at Tower Hamlets Borough Council 3 munud yn hwyrach. Cyfeirnod FixMyStreet: 1451368.
Cars and lorries frequently jumping red traffic lights on both Marsh Wall and Westferry Road crossings and endangering pedestrians lives on a daily basis. Drivers seem to ignore or don’t even see the approaching crossing and often drive straight through both on red, even when pedestrians are starting to cross. People with limited mobility, sensory difficulties, wheelchair and child buggy users are at particular risk at these crossings as there is nowhere else safe to cross at this location. A minimum of more signage on the approach to the crossings is needed or alternatively cameras on the crossings should to be installed ASAP to protect against an avoidable fatality.
