Tree roots raising pavement between tree and boundary and under lawn

The tree roots are raising and breaking up the footpath outside my house plus under my lawn and extremely close to the mains water pipe. This is becoming dangerous especially in the dark/wet, my grandson has already come off his micro scooter which has small wheels when he hit the raised area. A few yards away is the same problem and this area has already been highlighted for work, the two areas need attention at the same to avoid extra cost and before a person injures themselves tripping, Thanks
