Parked in dangerous area / double yellow lines

A high volume of people are parking opposite the bowls club when the cricket club hold events. The area shown in the photo has a double yellow line but doesn't go right up to the drop Kerb. This entices people to try and squash their cars in and overhang the yellow lines. This makes it exceptionally dangerous when trying to drive in and out of my drive and also for people driving down St Edmunds lane. I have spoken with the chairman who confirmed that they have a car park they can use but unfortunately people are lazy. I would like the double yellow line made a little longer and parking enforcement auctioned to prevent an accident. Thank you for you asssitance
