Khaki Coloured Rubber Bands left on roads

We are volunteers litter pickers living in Lydd and notice when going about our little town that there are these khaki coloured rubber bands littered all around the town. We have now realised that they are "dropped" by the postmen/women who come around delivering our letters. Could you please let them know that we have to pick up after them and ask them to keep the rubber bands in their pockets?
